50 years ago researchers Leslie Holdridge, Joseph Tosi and Alexander Skutch founded The Tropical Science Center (known as the CCT), the first environmental NGO in Costa Rica. As creators of the world famous Life Zone System, they’ve left only positive footprints for Costa Ricans and the scientific community world-wide. Costa Rica Sun Tours are happy to have been providing support to the CCT by bringing their guests to their private protected areas, such as the world famous Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve and Los Cusingos Bird Sanctuary, for the last 30 years!
