The Ecuadorean Risk Management Bureau has reduced the alert status in the area near Sierra Negra Volcano. The Geophysical Institute reports that the Sierra Negra Volcano eruption finished the 23rd of August and the lava flows are cooling down. As a result, the Galapagos National Park has opened the visitors sites of Amarradero de Caballos (horse stable), Volcan Chico and Erupcion 2018.
