Galapagos – vaccine for entry

It’s official! Tropic Ecuador is thrilled to announce that as of July 1st, the Galapagos Islands will admit fully vaccinated travelers without any additional PCR testing requirements! This puts the Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands among the easiest, most hassle-free (and of course most amazing) destinations for your guests to visit.
The Galapagos is the perfect escape after more than a year of little to no travel. The chance for your guests to immerse themselves in raw nature – spending time outdoors in the fresh air, and on and in the water – is a total reset. The sheer bliss of a dramatic change of scenery in one of nature’s true wonderous locales is nothing short of transformational.
There are two important reminders to add to your traveler’s sense of ease in choosing Ecuador – the adult population of the Islands was fully vaccinated in a campaign during April and May, and mainland Ecuador already accepts vaccination for entry, so they may choose multiple destinations such as the Islands, Amazon and Andes should they wish.
Tropic offers a broad array of options in the Galapagos – from island-hopping programs (don’t miss their The Other Side of Galapagos special) to private villa stays and luxury cruises. Contact Tropic’s commercial manager Diego to talk about customized options for your travelers.
Please remember that until July 1st, 2021, travelers will still need to show evidence of a negative PCR test no older than 96 hours (4 days) prior to arrival in Galapagos.
