With the opening of Ecuador’s borders, the Tropic Ecuador management team is out in the field finding inspiration for your guests’ next visit. Tropic superstar Cristina recently made a visit to Hacienda Piman where she had the chance to recharge and reconnect with nature. Here are a few words from her about her experience…
“After some months of lock down, it was a beautiful experience to be in contact again with nature. Located just 2.5 hours from Quito, Hacienda Piman was the perfect place for this reconnection. Upon arrival we were received by people from the Aloburco community who were very friendly and excited to welcome us. The hacienda is surrounded by 12 acres of lush and colorful gardens, with flowers and typical fruits of the area such as avocado, lemon, orange and custard apple. It is possible to walk around the fragrant and peaceful garden to delight in these delicious fruits.
The Hacienda is a beautifully preserved example of 16th century architecture and is a very cozy place, very quiet, with direct contact with nature. Rooms are spacious with large panoramic windows and each one has a private balcony overlooking the forest.
There are myriad activities to choose from and it is an ideal retreat for families. You can enjoy the swimming pool, use their electric bikes, and soon they will have horses and a spa. One of my favorite activities was riding the electric bike. You don’t need a guide – you can do it on your own on the outskirts of the Hacienda and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Andes region.”
If Hacienda Piman sounds like a good fit for your travelers, contact Cristina with questions and to check availability.
