Owned and operated by naturalist and guide Kieron Weidner, First Nature is an outfitter based in Portland, Oregon that designs and operates private, highly curated, custom luxury experiences throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. From the rugged glacier-capped volcanic peaks of the Cascade Mountains and verdant moss-draped rainforests of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, to Oregon’s fertile Willamette Valley wine country and the pristine waters of stunning Crater Lake National Park, the Pacific Northwest has more diversity of landscapes and experiences than just about anywhere else in the lower 48.

Whether your guests want to charter a yacht and sail the secluded bays of Washington’s San Juan Islands, heli-ski 300k acres of backcountry terrain in the North Cascades (aka the “American Alps”), explore the Columbia Gorge on an SUP or have a mind-blowing epicurean experience with a world-class chef at a boutique winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, First Nature will craft and deliver a unique and bespoke Northwest adventure.

First-Nature-Kieron-Weidner-profileKieron is a born naturalist with a fascination with the natural world that led him to a career in ecology, education and eventually sustainable tourism. Since 2007, Kieron has been helping travelers create memorable experiences in the Northwest. One of the most recognized guides in the region, Kieron has taken his experience to combine professional naturalist guides, luxury transportation and expert destination knowledge to provide the most memorable journeys for guests. Guiding is more than a career for Kieron – it’s his passion – and nothing makes him happier than providing people with new adventures and new life experiences.

We are excited to welcome Kieron and First Nature to the Kusini family!
