What’s happening this week in the Kusini Collection:

There’s no end to the adventures to be had in Baja
California Sur!

Todos Santos Eco Adventures: Join Bryan Jauregui and Sonya Bradley on July 12th for an inspiring overview of Todos Santos Eco Adventures (TOSEA) and all the exciting experiences they offer. Gain a better understanding of what we’ve been boasting about for the past year during a webinar outlining the unique adventures awaiting your guests in Baja California Sur. We’ll also highlight TOSEA’s Camp Cecil in the Sea of Cortez and Los Colibris Casitas in Todos Santos. Click here to sign up today!

The Elephant Express is a favorite of kids and adults alike –
a totally different game viewing experience!

Imvelo Safari Lodges: You have heard about Imvelo Safari Lodges’ fun and unique Elephant Express railcar, but how much do you really know about it? Check the new fact sheet for the nitty gritty on timing, railcar specs, routing and more! While we encourage planning your itinerary around riding the EE, for those short on time, all Imvelo lodges now have airstrips within a 90 minute game drive (at most). Nehimba is just 20 minutes from the newly opened Giraffe Springs airstrip, Bomani and Camelthorn are 10-15 minutes from the Bomani airstrip and Jozibanini is a 1.5hr game drive from Manga airstrip.

The Underwater Room is sure to knock your guests’ socks off!

The Manta Resort: Extra, extra…read all about it! Did you catch the news about our latest partner – The Manta Resort on Pemba Island off Tanzania? We’re so thrilled to support the incredible work that has been done to protect the fragile ecosystems on this segment of the Indian Ocean coastline. You will be an integral part of their efforts by sending your guests to experience their unique underwater room and resort – meanwhile your travelers will leave knowing what it is to be kwanini. Read more about The Manta Resort here!

Clients keen to see a quetzal? Check the wildlife calendar for
the best time to visit.

Costa Rica Sun Tours: What is the best time of the year for…you name it! This question comes up time and again. Even though there are no guarantees in life, Costa Rica Sun Tours has created a “Wildlife Calendar” based on general times of year for viewing certain species. This is a great sales tool to have at your fingertips. Be sure to reach out if wildlife isn’t all your guests are after – maybe it’s orchids, maybe it’s the best surf – whatever the interest – we’ll help guide you to the time of year to travel.

VIDEO: Great song for a great cause!

Ultimate Safaris Namibia: Save the Rhino Trust Namibia (SRT) has released a music video, ‘Stand Together,’ to promote their message in a uniquely Namibian way. Proceeds from purchases of the song support SRT in their mission to protect the rhinos in Namibia’s Kunene region. These rhinos are considered to be the largest truly free-ranging black rhino population left in the world. Ultimate Safaris’ Conservation Travel Foundation are supporters of SRT, and your clients’ travel with Ultimate contributes to that support. Be sure to share the video and Save the Rhino Trusts’ message!

Great news on Uganda permit pricing!

Classic Africa Safaris: For those who have been wondering if Rwanda’s recent gorilla permit price increase might be echoed in Uganda, the wait for clarification is over. Classic Africa Safaris has shared information from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) that permit prices will remain the same through 2019, and low season pricing discounts will remain in effect through year end. Remember – UWA will take permit bookings up to 2 years in advance, so it’s a great opportunity to encourage your travelers to solidify their trekking plans to take advantage of current pricing!

Vineyard Suites are perfect for discerning travelers and are
New Frontiers’ preferred choice

New Frontiers: Always on the lookout for new properties in South Africa, Jene from New Frontiers discovered a 4-star boutique gem in Franschhoek. Vrede en Lust is a little property situated just outside of town. The overall feeling is that of a grand and historic estate. Vrede en Lust means ‘peace and delight’ in Dutch – and taking the turn-off from the busier road onto the smaller dirt track leading to the accommodation, guests are greeted with superb vineyard views, beautiful gardens and old Cape Dutch buildings. Read more about the property and Jene’s visit on our blog.
