Update on Uganda Gorilla Permit Fees

2018-04-03T02:04:36-05:00June 16th, 2017|

For those who have been wondering if Rwanda’s recent gorilla permit price increase might be echoed in Uganda, the wait for clarification is over. Classic Africa Safaris has shared the following memo from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) which notes that permit prices will remain the same through 2019, and that low season pricing discounts will remain in effect through the end of 2017.

UWA will take permit bookings up to two years in advance, so this is the perfect opportunity to encourage your travelers to solidify their trekking plans to take advantage of the current permit pricing. The gorilla habituation experience currently on offer remains a fantastic value as well, allowing 4 guests each day the opportunity to spend up to 4 hours with the gorillas.
