Albatros East Africa
Albatros Travel East Africa operates as a true regional DMC, working exclusively with the travel trade, offering comprehensive and specialized services throughout Kenya and Tanzania. What sets them apart is their operational philosophy: they combine the personalized service of a small, focused team with the impressive regional reach and buying power of a major operator. With dedicated offices in Arusha and Nairobi, they are positioned to manage complex, tailor-made itineraries seamlessly across both countries. For Albatros, every traveler has a name, not just a number, ensuring a highly attentive and customized service experience.

Tanzania
Tanzania
Tanzania is a land of extremes. Home to Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, and its deepest and largest lakes, the country has the world’s largest game reserve and one of the most spectacular natural phenomenons in the world – the perpetual Great Migration on the Serengeti plains.

Kenya
Kenya
Famed as the birthplace of safari and the setting for ‘Out of Africa’, Kenya inspires exploration and adventure across the wide African savannah. Visit the Great Rift Valley, home to soda lakes and flamingos, and enjoy spectacular trekking on Mount Kenya, as well as a host of wildlife-packed game reserves.

Swahili Coast
Swahili Coast
East Africa’s Indian Ocean shores are made for postcards. In addition to mainland beach destinations, the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba are the perfect spots to wrap up an East African safari. Sea life, rich turquoise waters, and warm and welcoming people lure you into another world.

The first smiling face your guests will see when visiting East Africa with Albatros will likely be that of Eugene or Otieno Odhiambo. Eugene (Tanzania) and Otieno (Kenya) are Albatros’ “Client Liaison Officers” and they are the first to welcome guests on arrival in either Arusha or Nairobi. Eugene and Otieno meet travelers on arrival, review their itinerary and field any questions or concerns they have. Then they periodically check in with the Albatros guide (or for fly-in safaris, the camps or the guests directly), so you’ll receive reports in real time of your guests’ amazing wildlife sightings and trip highlights – as well as a heads up on any issues or complaints – putting you one step ahead!
Albatros has a firm focus on the quality of their guides. With a team of 10 on-staff guides, many of whom have been with the company for 15+ years, they have developed a reputation one of the best guiding teams in the industry. All of the Albatros guides (both on-staff and regular freelancers) undergo an annual, week-long refresher course, with bird, mammal and botany training led by the extraordinary guide trainers Clint Schipper and Ethan Kinsey, who are also trainers for Serian.
